Bushnell Tour V3 Battery

“Bushnell V3 Battery”

You’ve have to love the battery life in Bushnell golf rangefinders! You’re likely to get over a year out of your Bushnell Tour V3 battery. Still, I carry a spare in the bag just in case it dies without enough warning to get me through the round.

Bushnell V3 Low Battery IndicatorWhen the low battery indicator appears, you can replace the battery before it goes completely dead. The low battery indicator is visible in the display of your viewfinder as seen in the graphic below.

The Bushnell V3 battery is easy enough to replace even during a round of golf. There’s a little flip-up tab that unscrews the battery compartment. Take out the old one, put in the new one and you’re good to go!

I’m looking for a cover for my Bushnell Tour V3 rangefinder. In some ads they’re called “skinz”. Can you direct me on where to find these? Thank you.

Replaced battery, but will not turn on (Bushnell tour v3) 161498 model

    • Golf Rangefinder Shop says:

Hi Thomas. Sorry to hear that you Tour V3 isn’t working. Is there any corrosion in there or have the terminals been bent? If so, cleaning or adjusting might help. Otherwise, you can contact Bushnell here: http://bushnellgolf.com/contact/

Let us know how it works out.

Question, I installed a new V3 123 lithium battery and it only shows E12? What am I doing wrong. I have a Pro 1 M slope

    • Golf Rangefinder Shop says:

As I understand it, the E12 error has no fix. When these units were under warranty, Bushnell was replacing them. You can try removing the battery and pressing the power button a few times and then put the battery back in, but I doubt that will help. I’m sorry to say that it may be time for a new rangefinder. If you’re on a budget and want Slope, the Precision Pro NX7 Pro is a great choice. If you don’t want slope, check out our Best Laser Rangefinders Under $200.

I have a Bushnell Tour v3 and cannot remember how to get from meters to yards. Not sure what I did but it happened yesterday on course. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    • Golf Rangefinder Shop says:

      Hi Steve.

To select between yards and meters, press and hold the POWER/FIRE button. The display will
begin to cycle through the setup options: Yards w/JOLT, Yards, Meters w/JOLT, Meters (for details on the JOLT feature,
see “About JOLT”). When the units and JOLT mode you want to use are displayed, release the POWER/FIRE button to
select it. If you are changing from yards to meters, a change in unit of measure will be indicated by the illumination of the
M for meter indicator while the Y for Yard indicator is turned off. If you are changing from meters to yards, the opposite
will occur. The TOUR V3 will return to the last unit of measure setting used each time the unit is turned on.
