Top 10 Golf Watches
Garmin Approach S10 - Read Full Review

We are thrilled that Garmin finally has a new basic golf watch. We think this will be the best-selling golf watch on the market for awhile to come. Why? Because it does everything most golfers want in a golf watch and it's lightweight and compact. On the main screen, you will see distances to the front, middle, and back of the green, plus the hole number and par. The shape of the green is also right there on the same screen. If you need hazard information, it's one screen away. Many golfers won't ever touch the watch after starting a round. A simple glance will tell them what they need to know. You can also keep score on this watch and upload your scores to Garmin Express so your playing history is always available. It doesn't offer a way of tracking your stats, so if you are looking for that feature, check out Garmin's other golf watches.

Bushnell Neo Ion 2 - Read Full Review

Bushnell continues to stick with what works. The new Bushnell iON2 looks very similar to its predecessor the Neo iON. The feature set is almost identical too, but one improvement in particular really stand out. They have added Bluetooth connectivity to your smartphone, so course updates can be done automatically. The other noticeable change they made is that the band is now reversible. You can get the watch with either the black and blue band or a silver and green band. The Bushnell iON 2 provides distances to the front, middle, and back of every green plus up to four hazards and layups per hole. You can measure shot distance and the battery can last up to 3 rounds or 12 hours. The Bushnell smartphone app also provides hole layouts with distance and flyovers. It doesn't allow for scorekeeping or tracking stats, but it does have a fitness step tracker. We think it's direct competition is the Garmin S10.

Garmin Approach S20 - Read Full Review

We're recommending the Garmin S20 for anyone looking for a golf watch. It has some nice advanced features if you're a little bit of a golf geek, but if you want to keep it simple, you can do that too. The S20 combines smartwatch features of phone notifications, activity tracking, and sleep tracking with a golf watch loaded with features. The main golf screen displays the distance to the front, middle, and back of the green plus the green shape. You can manually change the pin position for more precise distance. Distances to doglegs and the front and back of hazards is a button press away. Not only is there a scorecard, but the S20 can automatically track all of your full shots. On Garmin Connect, you can see your full hole graphic locations of your shots, distances, and clubs used (not including putts). This watch also automatically gets any updates for courses you play regularly and it has excellent battery life.

Bushnell Neo Ion - Read Full Review

The reviews on the Bushnell Neo Ion golf watch are turning out to be as good if not better than any golf watch we've seen. Our take is that Bushnell hasn't made any big technological changes since the Neo XS, but has taken what works and put it into a nicer package. The lighter-weight, better-looking Neo Ion still provides distance to the front, middle, and back of the greens, as well as distances to hazards... AND the battery will easily last through 3 rounds!

The Garmin X40 packs in both golf and fitness tracking features into a small band that you can wear all the time. The activity tracking includes steps, distance, calories burned, heart rate and activity intensity. For golf, you get the usual distances to the front, middle, and back of the green, plus hazards. It has a scorecard with stat-tracking, plus AutoShot tracking measures and records your shot distances automatically. It also connects to your smartphone for notifications.

GolfBuddy Voice 2 - Read Full Review

Every time GolfBuddy comes out with a new Voice model, it seems to get a little bit better. The GolfBuddy Voice 2 makes a huge leap with extended battery life. It boasts 14 hours which makes it the first one to be able to make it thru three 18-hole rounds. They've also added a choice of male and female voices. It's water resistant, has distances to the front, middle, and back of each green, and a shot measuring feature. The watch band can be ordered separately on Amazon.

GolfBuddy Voice X - Read Full Review

We've been a fan of the GolfBuddy Voice line of GPS rangefinders for a long time. Each new iteration seems better than the one before and we hope that holds true for the new GolfBuddy VoiceX. The VoiceX adds quite a few features and a design change. Our favorite new feature is the automatic course update via Bluetooth and your smartphone. We also like the Big Numbers mode and manual pin positioning capability. Additionally, the new activity tracker could be a hit with walkers and runners. Watchband is available separately.

Garmin Approach S60 - Read Full Review

Garmin's newest golf watch looks to be a sophisticated golf watch, fitness watch, and smartwatch. It will be released in the summer of 2017 and we look forward to exploring all the features here very soon!

Garmin Approach S6 - Read Full Review

There is no other golf watch like the Garmin Approach S6. We think the best feature is the fairway view screen. You might not need it on your home course, but it sure comes in handy on courses you've never seen. It's got all the same features as the Garmin S4. It's also go swing metrics, but to be honest, the only reason to spend the extra money on this watch is for the fairway views.
