Used the unit for 2 rounds. Excellent range finder. Only minor issue is the charge level of the GPS. Played a round and a half and ran out of power for the GPS. It appears that I need to charge it after each round. Not a big deal.
Hi Ed. You should get closer to 10 hours out of the GPS. You might want to contact Callaway and see if they will replace your unit. 1-800-588-9836.
Further evaluation of the Callaway Hybrid rangefinder. Two issues have surfaced. For some reason, I will repeatedly get obviously wrong distances with the rangefinder. At first I thought it was shooting objects behind the green/flag. I tried some shots of the pin with nothing behind (a lake) and still got wrong numbers. Said it was 78 when it ultimately was mid 30’s. Measurements all showed the “boxed” image that confirmed I hit the target.
Second issue is not what I first thought (unit running out of power for the gps) but, rather, the unit shuts the gps off in mid round (multiple rounds). You have to reboot it to get it back.
Bad product. It does not have a slope adjusted distance and in my case even worse does not have my golf course.
