Bushnell neo-X vs neo-XS

The Bushnell neo-X and the neo-XS have both been retired. Check out our current list of top golf watches.

Bushnell neo-X vs neo-XSThe Bushnell neo-X vs neo-XS is pretty short and sweet. These are both excellent golf GPS watches sold at a very reasonable price. Both watches are almost identical in operation, but the neo-XS offers up to four hazard and layup points per hole, versus only two on the neo-X. If you typically use hazard and layup information on your golf GPS, then the neo-XS is definitely the watch for you. If that information isn’t something you’re inclined to use, the decision comes down to appearance and price. The neo-XS has a more rounded shape and is available in three color options – black, charcoal and white. We think it’s the better looking of the two watches, but that’s a matter of personal taste. The Bushnell neo-X is only available in black.

  1. Bushnell neo xs can give you up to four hazards per hole – but doen’t!!!!! In fact most holes it gives green side bunker distances only. The gods at bushnell decide i guess
when a hazard is a hazard on each hole and very often apparently see no hazards – when you will!. Save the money and get a gps that gives you front cetner and back of green distances only as the Neo Xs more often than not will leave you empty! And pay up for a full feature gps if your looking for hazard distances – as you will just get frustrated with the Bushnell Neo XS…..and who needs extra frustration in our game.

  2. When I plug my neo-x watch in to charge and it indicates full, when I attempt to use in on the course that day, it says “charge battery to play golf”. Does that mean the battery did not charge or can not charge? Can I replace the battery? How do I contact Bushnell company?
