Almost all of the reviews we read gave high praise to the ease of use and accuracy of the Leupold GX-3, but there were two additional comments that got our attention…

User after user commented on the high quality of this rangefinder, feeling it was rugged and would really last. The other frequently mentioned comment didn’t really surprise us, as we’ve seen it up close. The red OLED makes the the Leupold GX-3 very easy to read.

Although the GX-3 may be a little more expensive than some of its competitors, when you consider the years of use you may get from it, it might well be worth the extra expense.

• Difficult to hold steady for longer distances. (Only a few users had problems and it’s not clear if they were using Scan Mode or not)

We realize that’s not much of a list of cons. There were a few others, but we only list them if more than one user has mentioned a particular issue. Keep in mind however, that this is a much smaller pool of reviews than we have for many other laser rangefinders.
