If you are looking for a Bushnell Tour V4 replacement battery, you will need a 3-volt lithium CR2. This applies to:
- Tour V4 Standard
- Tour V4 Slope
- Tour V4 Shift
We suggest the 2-pack so that you can carry a spare in your bag! These Energizer batteries are very reasonably priced on Amazon.
Bushnell recommends replacing the battery at least every 12 months or as soon as you see the lo8 on the display. It’s code for Low Battery!
Here are the instructions for replacing the Bushnell Tour V4 battery:
- Remove the battery cap by lifting the battery cap tab and then rotating counter clockwise
- Insert a CR-2 3-volt lithium battery into the compartment negative end first
- Replace the battery cap.
Replaced battery. Range finder won’t reset
Hi Marc. Sorry to hear you are having problems. You will probably need to contact Bushnell, but before you do, try taking the battery out and pressing the ranging/power button several times. Leave the battery out for one minute and then replace it. If that doesn’t work, contact Bushnell.
Same thing is happening to mine. Did you find a resolution?
Hi Sari,
Sorry to hear you are having problems. Did you try taking the battery out and pressing the ranging/power button several times. Leave the battery out for one minute and then replace it. If that doesn’t work, you can contact Bushnell Golf here.
Hi, my golf course as introduced 2 extra holes. So at times the course changes.
How do I pick up or introduce these holes on my Bushnell watch
Mny thanks Ged.
Hi Ged. You didn’t mention which version of the watch you are using, but maybe this page from Bushnell Golf will help.
Watch is about 3 years old stopped excepting charge where do I get fixed
Which watch do you have? If it’s a Bushnell, you can contact them here. Or call them at (800) 423-3537.
I have a Bushnell Tour V4 and have just replaced the battery. On the left side of the display is a battery with three dark cells and
The cell in the middle has an opening to the right of it. What does that mean?
Hi Ken. I have no idea what that means. I suppose it’s possible that it’s just a problem with the LCD. Is it working? If it’s causing a problem, you may want to contact Bushnell. https://www.bushnellgolf.com/contact/ Let us know what you find out.
I have the same exact issue and pinseeker will not work outside of about 50 yards
I have the same problem. Did you find a solution please?
Hi Serge,
I wish I could help, but I don’t have any idea as to what is causing the problem. My only suggestion would be to contact Bushnell. Please let us know if you receive a response. Other readers might be able to benefit from your experience.
Sadly Bushnell has not replied to my message through their website nor direct email.
Hi Serge,
I’m sorry to hear Bushnell isn’t being responsive. I wonder if you might get a response on Facebook or Twitter. It makes you think twice about spending the extra for the brand name.
It looks like a spring has popped around the + terminal and won’t let battery connect
Hi Arthur,
I wish I could help with that, but it’s outside my wheelhouse. Have you contacted Bushnell?
Hi, my Bushnell Excel GPS Rangefinder Watch display is very dull. It’s fully charged but have a hard time seeing display screen. If it requires a new battery – which one?
Hi Frank. Sorry to hear you’re having a screen brightness issue with your Bushnell Excel. Are you activating the backlight by pressing any button? I don’t know if the battery could be causing your issue, but Bushnell says that only a qualified technician should open the watch and I don’t even see any batteries available. I would suggest contacting Bushnell Golf to see if they have a replacement service. I hope they can work something out for you.
I left my bushnell V4 Tour down in Mexico. I want to bring a replacement battery down. It shows 3 volt Lithium but can’t seem to see if it is the disc type or a normal cylinder style battery. I assume a round disc type but wanted to be sure so I take down the right one.
I’m sure you found this out by now, but for anyone else looking, it’s like this battery on Amazon.(See Affiliate Disclosure on the side of the this page.)
I have a bushnell tour v4 slope edition. It quit so I changed the battery. Nothing. I called bushnell they told me to take the battery out and press the red button for 15 seconds. I replaced the battery. Still nothing. Any ideas? Thanks
Hi Allen,
Sorry to hear that. Along the same lines as Bushnell’s advice, I would take the battery out and press the power button ten times. Leave the battery out for a minute and then put it back in and see if it works. Next, check to see if there are any “bendable” contact points inside the battery compartment. I had an old Bushnell where the contact point got smashed down and didn’t touch the battery. I pried it back up and it worked. I can’t think of anything else. If it doesn’t work, maybe Bushnell will offer you a discount on a new one. If not, you may want to try one of the less expensive models. I’ve been very happy using the Precision Pro NX7 for several years now.
Let us know how you make out.
