My voice buddy won’t hold a charge anymore, called the company for repair information. They sent me an e-mail to answer questions on a form but the form never came thru. Sent them a response but never ever hurt back with them. I’m really disappointed in there repair department. The rechargeable batteries don’t last very long.
Charles, sorry to hear you are having trouble. That doesn’t seem or be a complaint of most users, but it’s disappointing to hear that customer service hasn’t been more responsive.
golf buddy voice won’t charge. I think the battery is fine, but when i plug in the charger it blinks for a few minutes then stops. To charge it I have to plug it in over, and over again. Called gold buddy was told they would email instructions on a reboot, received nothing. emailed message, got no response. Of course 90 day warranty has expired. Oh, and i did try another wall adapter and cord, still had same problem
Hi David. I emailed my GolfBuddy contact to see if I can get instructions for resetting. I’ll let you know if I learn anything.
David, here are the instructions I received for resetting the GolfBuddy Voice.
1. Have the unit completely turned off.
2. Hold the “P” button and turn on the device.
3. Screen will flash and show you the reset message.
4. Let go of the “P” button
5. This will reset the unit and it may fix the issue that you are experiencing.
Have a new wt4 and after chafing I turn it off and 12 hours later when I turn it on it is dead! Is this common?

Thank you. I did try to update the GB, but it didn’t help. I contacted GB, and I am in the process of working with them. I believe they are going to send me another unit. Hopefully thi is true. Thank you!

GB sent me a brand new GB Voice 2. They asked me for pictures of my current GB to make sure it wasn’t damaged, then told me to send it in. They took a CC deposit (just in case I didn’t send in my GB) and they put a new GB in the mail. I should have it in a couple of days. GREAT customer service for sure!
