Score compiled from multiple sources.It looks very similar to the Bushnell NEO Ghost, but we think the Phantom will be much more popular. The price is fantastic and this compact handheld golf GPS gives you all the basics in an easy to use package. It also throws in some nice high-end features. For starters,
it has wireless course updates via Bluetooth and a free app on your smartphone. For those who ride in golf carts, you’re also going to love the new magnet on the back that allows you to stick it on the cart so you can have “glance and go” distances to the front, middle, and back of the green.
If you’re gearing up for golf season and in the market for new golf GPS that is simple to use, you may not even want to wait for our full review.

My phantom charges but will not maintain the charge even when turned off. In other words it discharges while off.
Hi James. Most devices will lose their charge over time even when turned off. I’m not sure how long you are leaving it off before trying it, but you may want to check with Bushnell to find out how long you should expect it to hold a charge. Contact Bushnell
